Winter horse riding in the mountains

We invite you to live an incredible adventure in our horseback riding in the Andes Mountain Range, with lodging in comfortable and warm refuges in the mountain…

Services Included:

Itinerary:

Day 1: Departure at 9:00 hs aprox to the mountain area ( 20 kilometers from Mendoza City) We will reach a refuge where the horses with its saddles will be waiting for us.
Horseback riding climbing up paths, where it’s possible to observe the beautiful Mendoza Valley.
At subset, we will reach our refuge in the middle of the mountain. There, "Fabián", our host, will be waiting for us with hot chocolate and "sopaipillas" (typical bread of Argentina). A warm fire in the refuge will be excellent for the cold nights in the mountain.
Typical Dinner, "asado" share it with a good wine from our province.

The lodging with be in the refuge, where we will put our mattresses closer to the wood stoves. In the moment when we will share the “mate” (typical beverage from Argentina) it will start the card games, anecdotes and legend from the area that guides and muleteers will tell us.

Day 2: Alter breakfast, the horseback riding will continue up to the highest peak climbing up the paths from "Quebrada del Telégrafo" up to an excellent view point where you can see all the places that you will ride at the moment and enjoy the magic landscapes of the mountain.
After 4 hs riding, we will reach "Casa de Piedra", a beautiful house that has more than 100 years old, in the middle of the imposing AndesRange. In this place it’s possible to have a hot bath and an excellent rest in beds with mattress. Dinner and fire in the Wood Stoves of the Refuge.

Day 3: In the morning, we will prepare our saddle and we will come back to the Refuge where the horseback riding started.
In the afternoon, we will come back to Mendoza, to conclude our unforgettable experience.
